Inside Cu Chi Tunnels

The insanly busy roads in rush hour traffic, which we managed to cross.

War museum in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Hoian

Rice fields on the outskirts of the town.

Riding around the town.

Japaneese bridge, which is 500 years old.

Tamar with the bikes we hired to ride around Hoian, $1 a day, bargain.

One of the lantern shops which are all over Hoian.

View of river leading to the sea in Hoian.

The beach in Hoian

The sleeper bus we took from Hoian to Hanoi, which by the way smelt of cheesy feet and was way too uncomfortable, the karaoke on the tv slightly made up for it and the Vietnamese film which was bizzare.

This is the boat we stayed on for a night and cruised around halong harbour, luxury all the way in Vietnam.

Leaving Halong Harbour about to start our 2 day tour of Halong Bay and neighbouring islands.

The Caves in Halong Bay ( Tamar thinks it looks like fraggle rock)

Caves on one of the islands in Halong Bay

Floating Village in Cat Ba Harbour.

Watch Tower overlooking Cat Ba Island

At the top of the watch tower looking over Cat ba island

Climbing down a a watch tower on top of a hill we trekked up. It was the dodgiest, rustiest thing ever.

Tamar Smiling which is always good!

Desserted beach on Cat Ba Island near Halong bay. Mind you it was a bit cold and threatening to rain.

A mating squid in a floating fishery where our boat was anchored in Halong Bay.

A Bowl full of pickeled Cobras, Gecko's, Crows and various other wild life - Crazy Vietnamese
