The day we returned to Pokhera we stopped off at Tatopani (hot water springs) on the Annapurna circuit first to relax those aching joints and ease the burnt faces.

On the way down we caught a local bus which broke down.

The boys we met when the bus broke down.

Em and Paul, 2 people we met during Annapurna and then went boating together on our return to Pokhera.

Will and Em rowed while Rotem and I sat and enjoyed the view.

We said no more tekking and yet a day later we find our selves walking a 1000m meters, which seemed harder than ever.

The Peace Pagoda at the top of the hill, looking over Pokhera Valley.

Tamar will Pokhera valley in the background. The white across her face is the cream covering the severe sun burn from Annapurna.

Pokhera lake.

Elephant washing outside our jungle huts.

Everyday the elephant handlers bring the elephants to the river and people are invited to help wash them.

Walking along the bridge to the elephant sanctuary.

Baby elephants are allowed to wonder around the park and this one liked Will's shoe lace.

He liftedWill's foot up and undid his laces.

Rotem put her hand out and the baby elephant smelt her with his trunk, leaving some snot behind.

Rotem about to touch the elephant.

Elephant playing with a piece of cloth.

On safari we went to a crocodile sanctuary and on the way back to the park we went through some woods where there was a festival. Will watched some goats being decapitated as part of the festival.

Will hanging off the back of the jeep, animal watching.

Rotem standing up in the jeep animal spotting.

A Bison in the forest.

We saw 12 Rhinos on our safari, a Hornbill bird (meant to be more rare than tiger) and caged tigers and a leopard. Apparently they have tasted human blood and are too dangerous to release.

Tamar animal spotting, plus was falling a sleep, after 12 Rhinos i needed some variation or entertainment.

View of Chitwan vilage from the national park side.

Rotem relaxing outside our jungle huts after our safari day.

The restaurant we sat at for nearly every meal and for 2 days didn't leave. Was great.
